Our diabetic and pre-diabetic patients are invited to join us for an educational tour of the Holland Farmers Market. This is a free event and participants will receive $5.00 in Market Bucks to spend on fresh produce.

October is National Hygiene Month! 
 Good oral and dental hygiene can help prevent bad breath, tooth decay  and gum disease - and can help you keep your teeth as you get older. An unhealthy mouth, especially if you have gum disease, may increase your risk of serious health problems such as heart attack, stroke, poorly controlled diabetes and preterm labor.

Run for Your Life 5 k
Be it in a creepy costume, dressed as a banana or in disguise, get ready to hit the roads of Holland! HFHC is proud to present the 9th annual  Run For Your Life 5K .

Diabetic Support Group
The first Thursday of every month from September to May, Holland Free Health Clinic is hosting a free diabetic support group for members of Ottawa and Allegan counties, from 6:30pm- 8:00pm.
Each week will include a presentation on a different topic, time for discussion, and refreshments. This group is open to the public, and welcome to anyone 18 years of age or older with diabetes, family members, caretakers, health professionals, etc.

Mental Health Support Group

This group will provide options for changing destructive patterns in your life. The facilitator will provide tools and insights for change, with time for support and discussion within the group. This group meets Tuesdays from 3:00 - 4:30 pm at HFHC. It is open to the public. To register, please contact Coral Swieringa at 616-392-3610 ext. 205 or cswieringa@hfhclinic.org
