A WORD FROM OUR NEW BOARD CHAIR

Greetings, my name is John Andrew, and I’m honored and humbled to be the new Chair of the HFMN Board of Directors. I want to thank Garrett “Sack” Harencak for his superb leadership as Board Chair during the tough times of the past two years. Thanks to his vision and inspiration, combined with the indomitable spirit of our partners, staff, and Board, we emerged even stronger. Last year, our dedicated case managers fielded 13,901 calls while helping more than 5,000 service members, veterans and families. In addition, our financial assistance grants totaled almost $295,000. I am so appreciative of our generous donors, steadfast partner agencies, passionate volunteers, supportive community leaders, and committed staff who wholeheartedly embrace our impactful mission. You truly make a difference every day, and I’m privileged to be part of this team that helps those who sacrifice for us. Let’s make 2023 even better for our heroes!

Brigadier General, USAF (Ret)
