Mark your calendar!! Our annual Horizons at GSFS Day of Giving takes place on Wednesday, May 4th this year and we hope we count on you to help us reach our goal of raising $25,000! All funds raised will provide support for our summer program, ensuring that students in our community have access to high-quality literacy, STEAM and swim instruction during summer break. While our giving day is on May 4th, donations can be made as early at May 1st and up until May 18th.

In the past two years, the opportunity gap Horizons works to close has widened dramatically. As the effects of the pandemic continue to compound, students will likely to face more challenges. Supporting Horizons helps ensure our program can continue reaching the students who need it most.

Last summer, Horizons students had the opportunity to learn, play and explore in a nurturing environment and it was all because of YOU. Thank you in advance for your support!

Dear Friends,

After three beautiful summers and school years as Executive Director of Horizons at Greene Street Friends School, I have moved into a new role. I am elated to say, however, that I will continue to be a part of the Horizons network!

I am now the Director of Development of Horizons Greater Philadelphia, where I will support the expansion of Horizons so that more youth in our city have access to the educational opportunities they deserve.

It has been a true pleasure serving Horizons at Greene Street Friends School. We have accomplished so much together in a short time, and I am forever grateful.
