Located in Palo Alto California, Congregation Etz Chayim melds elements from across the spectrum of Judaism. We focus on spirituality, lifelong learning, and service, and offer a warm, inclusive egalitarian community. Together with our spiritual leader, Rabbi Chaim Koritzinsky, our congregants are exploring what it means for each of us to identify as a Jew. Our services are conducted in Hebrew and English, with prayerbooks that include both transliterations and English translations. Congregation Beth Jacob, Redwood City - Conservative

Beth Jacob High Holy Day services are geared toward different interests within our community. Our Traditional Services are liturgically comprehensive. The sermon topics are relevant to adults and older children. The alternative service, "A Different Service," meets on the first morning of Rosh Hashanah and on Yom Kippur morning. This popular service, held in the comfortable and inspiring Beit T'fillah, covers the essential prayers, and stresses intimacy and participation, singing and learning. The "Different Service" is a wonderful place for families with school-age children to pray together. Family Services, on Rosh Hashanah eve and first day, and Yom Kippur eve (Kol Nidre) and morning, provide an opportunity for families with younger children to experience meaningful services together.  Learn more about  Beth Jacob, To sign up, click  here.
