Fans interested in recording the LIVE STREAM for games, or have questions, should text or call 262.389.5221 or talk to their team’s Booster Club liaison or Head Coach. Live Streamers will be given Editor privileges to the Facebook page. It’s very easy to do for you first timers!
Booster Club Membership


Your member supports Homestead athletics. Your membership has allowed the Booster Club to fund various projects to help Highlander athletes including:

  • Contributing to turf the softball field
  • Awarding 4 Booster Club Scholarships (see below)
  • Contributing $1000 to each sport with 65% or greater Booster Club membership
  • Paying for rental fees for indoor sports practice facility
  • Helping fund uniforms for sports

If you have several children who will be attending Homestead High School consider the Lifetime Membership.

for two parent/guardians and all dependent children under age 22. Not transferable.

Homestead vs Port Washington – 10-20-20

Tuesday night was the last meet of the season both JV & Varsity went out on a winning note. The JV defeated Port Washington 113 – 35 & Varsity won 123 – 63.
For the Varsity in the 200 Medley Relay (Gretchen Heintz, Mariah Reynolds, Rebecca Yang & Michelle Martin) placed 1st and
(Katie Krol, Taliah Lansing, Ellie Thomas & Alice Berezovski) placed 3rd.
In the 200 Freestyle Alice Berezovski placed 2nd & Allie Paredes placed 3rd.
In the 200 IM Mariah Reynolds placed 1st & Gretchen Heintz placed 2nd.
In the 50 Free Rebecca Yang placed 1st & Madilyn Klein placed 3rd.
In the 100 Butterfly Bella Magee placed 2nd & Helena Zhao placed 3rd.
In the 100 Free Alice Berezovski placed 3rd.

In the 400 Free Relay (Payton Rater, Audrey Ferrero, Jozy Clark & Caroline Garsha) placed 1st & Elizabeth Rater, Mary Giersch, Sam Estiban & Emma Spitz placed 3rd
Homestead placed 1st, 2nd & 3rd for the Varsity 1-meter diving competition – Lauren VanVooren, Maggie Pokorny & Mia Wang.
Last weekend the Homestead dive team competed at the diving conferences and Lauren VanVooren placed 2nd, Maggie Pokorny placed 4th & Mia Wang placed 8th.

Varsity Conference, Saturday October 31st at Port Washington 
Diving sectionals – Friday November 6th 
Girls Volleyball
Our Girls Volleyball team ended their 2020 season this past week with a loss to top ranked Menomonee Falls in the Regional round of state playoffs, dropping the 1st 3 sets ; 19-25, 19-25, 17-25.

Junior Gabby Magee led the Highlanders with 10 kills and 8 blocks. Seniors Olivia Van Laanen and Jesse Gee weren’t far behind with 6 kills for each of them. 

Great season ladies, it was a pleasure watching our 1st and hopefully only ever Pandemic volleyball season.  Good luck to all the seniors as they go forward and we’ll see those underclassmen next year!
Boys Cross Country
The Boy’s Cross Country team had a busy week. Sub-Sectionals were Tuesday at Tendick Park. The boys came in first place! Top 5 Varsity runners:

   1. Owen Bosley (2)
   2. Dominic Silhol (7)
   3. Kyle Knutson (10)
   4. Cullen Boyle (17)
   5. Logan Kluck (25)

Sectionals were Saturday in Slinger. The team came in 3rd place. Unfortunately only the top 2 teams advance to state and the boys missed it by a narrow margin. Top 5 Varsity runners:

   1. Owen Bosley (4)
   2. Dominic Silhol (9)
   3. Kyle Knutson (17)
   4. Cullen Boyle (22)
   5. Adam Dolan (27)

Owen Bosley qualified for state which will be Saturday 10/31 at Arrowhead high school. Good luck, Owen!
