HHS Funds Reminder

HHS will begin accepting applications today 9/29/2021 for round 4 of funding.

We contacted HHS and asked a few questions:

Q: Is this a first come first serve type of funding?

A: No, money will not be sent out until after all applications are received

Q: How long do have to apply?

A: Applications will be accepted 9/29/2021 through 10/26/2021

Q: What Patient Collection information will be required for the application?

A: Patient Collections for 2019 Q3, 2019 Q4, 2020 Q3, 2020 Q4, 2021 Q1

Q: What Expense information will be required for the application.

A: If applying for this method (increase in expenses), expense totals for 2019 Q3, 2019 Q4,

2020 Q3, 2020 Q4, 2021 Q1

Our understanding at this time, expenses that will be eligible will be staff expenses, supply expenses and lab expenses.

HHS – How to find your information for each of the above quarters?

If applying by using the reduction in income method:

• The Dental software for your practice can provide the collection numbers required. You will print the reports based on the dates for each quarter.

If applying by using the increase in expenses method:

• You will find this information on your profit and loss statement that was provided to you from our office.
• The 12 month rolling statement provided with your December monthly reports will give you the expenses listed by month to use.
