Service To Youth To Robert Lasky
In late February at the US Harness Writers Association Dan Patch Dinner, HHYF presented our 2019 Service To Youth Award to Robert Lasky. Bob was selected because of his willingness to step up at the last minute and arrange for the HHYF stable transportation last summer.

Also at the Dinner, a lucky Debra Hardy won the 50/50 raffle and immediately donated it to HHYF. What a special surprise and many thanks to Deb for her spontaneous generosity!

HHYF PSA (Produced by PM Advertising) Up for Another Award!
Also, in addition to the previously announced Winnie Award, our public service announcement created by PM Advertising is now a finalist in the American Horse Publications Business & Bi Non Profit Category. We’ll find out the results in late May!
When Life Gives You Lemons....
HHYF trustees and staff recently made the difficult decision to cancel all HHYF programs scheduled for the 2020 summer season. Possible programs may be set up for late fall; our hope is to attach "mini-camps" to existing events to continue to make that all-important hands-on connection of young people and Standardbreds happen soon!

Weekly Facebook Live Reading To Continue Too

Miss Ellen also plans to continue reading horse stories each Friday at 3:30PM throughout the summer. If you have a suggestion of a book or story, just drop her a message on our Facebook page!

Straight From The Horse's Mouth
“Sure will miss our daily doses of attention and the visits to our host locations this summer! Meanwhile, we’ll try to enjoy our extended vacation and obey Dr. Pink’s strict rules so we don’t get too fat. Hope to see everyone very soon!”
