The Rector's Reflection
The Rev. Dr. Bill Murray
Love Your Neighbor CAC Concert
7:00 pm Thursday, April 30
The Webber School
For many who have been long-time members, the Community Assistance Center holds a special place in their hearts. Folks remember the days when the Rev. Deacon Jackie Watt would gather folks up as volunteers and put them to work at the thrift shop and food pantries. In time, church member Tamara Carrera was hired as the full-time leader and spent over twenty years building and growing the program in countless ways. The annual gala was held in the church until CAC finally outgrew us in 2021. Now our own George Northrop is Director of Advancement-Community and continues the long tradition of supporting and leading this vital ministry.
That whole preamble is to say simply, Holy Innocents has long supported and loved the work of CAC. Randy Romig and our choir will be adding their voices and support with the "Love Your Neighbor" Concert on Thursday, April 30. Randy will be conducting our choir along with singers from other churches in the area as part of the program. They are all looking forward to raising their voices in support of the amazing programs at CAC.
I hope you will be able to join us for the concert. Tickets are $30 a person. For those of you able or interested, there are sponsorship options available as well. The good news this Easter Season is that the Community Assistance Center is doing amazing work in caring for those in need and at risk in our community- and we are absolutely a part of this critical ministry. I hope many of you can join us for this wonderful event!
Blessings,
Bill +

Women of HI: Spring Dinner
April 23, 6:00 PM
We are honored to welcome Peggy Whitlow Ratcliffe, Founder and Executive Director of Live Thrive, as our guest speaker. At its heart, Peggy’s story is an entrepreneurial journey—she saw a need in our community and quite literally filled it.
Through her work, she has made recycling more accessible across Atlanta, founding Live Thrive in 2010 and launching CHaRM (Center for Hard to Recycle Materials), which has since diverted millions of pounds of waste from landfills and waterways.
Her work beautifully connects with the spirit of Earth Day, reminding us of our shared calling to care for and steward our environment. Come be inspired by Peggy’s story, learn about impactful work happening right here in our community, and enjoy a meaningful evening together.
