One of our highest priorities for 2023 is to improve the responsiveness and availability of our health information exchange. While it hasn’t always been visible, our team has taken many steps to evaluate, measure, manage and improve the system and services of HealtheConnections. We recognize that you trust HealtheConnections to do your job, and we take this responsibility very seriously. As our exchange has grown over the past 18 months, our standard has not been acceptable.

In preparation for 2023, we’ve developed a comprehensive plan to yield noticeable and expected performance improvements. Our communities contribute millions of patient records every month into the exchange, and that volume has led to performance challenges. We understand and feel the inconvenience and frustration this causes. It is our highest priority to ensure that you can access the data you need in a timely, efficient manner.


This plan incorporates incremental – yet measured – enhancements,

some of which have been implemented already and some of which will be

implemented over the next few months. We're pleased to report that progress is being made, but the true measure of this work effort is your satisfaction. We will continue to remain focused on maintaining the highest level of system responsiveness and overall performance you expect.
