HPN is in full swing to bring our community together for more wonderful opportunities to connect and pray. We are so thrilled to partner with incredible companies and individuals telling powerful stories and to host impactful screenings and conversations with those who PRAY!

HPN’S FILM PRODUCTION PRAYER TEAMS

HPN is forming prayer teams to pray for specific films in various stages of production, whose producers have partnered with HPN for prayer. We are honored to gather our members who have a desire to pray for a film from pre-production, production, and post-production, to distribution. Today, we are offering a prayer team for the film JIMMY, as we partner with EKKL Entertainment, and we want you to be a part of it.

JIMMY is a feature film telling the untold true story of Jimmy Stewart–from Academy Award-winning actor to combat pilot in World War II, to his return home and the iconic role of George Bailey in It’s a Wonderful Life, including the moment of prayer during filming that changed his life. The producers are preparing for the film’s theatrical release this November. Just as the movie portrays the power of prayer, they are looking to activate a broader community to pray specifically for the film’s team, its release, and the audiences who will experience it. PARAMOUNT/WARNER BROS. DISCOVERY MERGER HAS BECOME SKYDANCE



Paramount Skydance has officially closed it's merger with Warner Bros. Discovery and brings both mega corporations together under the new name Skydance. The merger will bring Paramount, CBS, Warner Bros., HBO, CNN, and several major streaming and cable properties under one company. Reported pluses include a significant investment in California production, a commitment to release 30 theatrical films annually, and an agreement to retain California studio facilities. While these commitments could help protect local production, industry leaders know that there will soon be layoffs and fewer creative opportunities. Please pray for wisdom and integrity among everyone overseeing this merger, and for protection, provision, peace, and new opportunities for the thousands of people whose jobs and careers may be affected.

CINDY CRAWFORD’S SON DIES

Please join us in praying for Cindy Crawford and her husband and family as they grieve the death of her 27 year old son Presley, who passed away from a drug overdose.  Our industry is dealing with the epidemic of drug use and abuse and so we ask that you pray for both the Crawfords and other families struggling with drug addiction.

EATING DISORDERS IN HOLLYWOOD

We ask that you join us in praying for the many professionals in Hollywood who struggle with eating disorders, which are a significant issue in our industry due to pressure to look thin, through intense media scrutiny and unrealistic beauty standards . Three of the major eating disorders that are common amongst celebrities, models, actors and on-camera personalities, are binge-eating, bulimia and anorexia. Please pray that people will look past the lies that thinness equals success. In Hollywood, like much of America, public scrutiny is real and body shaming is the norm. We need to have our identity in Christ and find our worth, value and self-perception directly from Him. Here are a list of treatment centers for anyone who may need this resource for yourself, a family member, or a friend.

THE END OF CHRISTIAN CELEBRITY ERA/THE BEGINNING OF INFLUENCERS



A recent RELEVANT article examines how Christian culture may be exchanging one form of celebrity for another. As trust in prominent pastors and large institutions has declined following years of public scandals, many believers are increasingly turning to Christian influencers for spiritual guidance. These creators can introduce millions of people to biblical truth and meaningful encouragement, but visibility does not necessarily indicate spiritual maturity, theological wisdom, or accountability. The concern is that follower counts and engagement can be mistaken for spiritual authority or evidence of genuine discipleship. Please pray that Christian creators will remain humble, grounded in Scripture, connected to a healthy church community, and be accountable to wise spiritual leaders. HPN’s prayer is that believers will seek a lasting walk with Christ rather than building their faith around personalities or algorithms.

Weekly HPN Devotional: GRACE

Grace is one of the supernatural gifts from God to us. His grace is sufficient, Jesus is defined as grace, and we are to show grace to others. It’s a poetic word with a powerful effect on everyone who practices it and accepts it from God.
