The 2030 Agenda, adopted by the United Nations in 2015, set forth a comprehensive framework for sustainable development containing social, economic, and environmental dimensions.
Makhzoumi Foundation has been working in parallel with the Agenda's 17 SDGs to address challenges such as environmental sustainability.
In the past few years, Makhzoumi Foundation witnessed notable advancements in sustaining the environment. Addressing climate change and protecting the planet has driven us into action. From participation in the Bicycle Rally with the embassy of India in Lebanon to putting solar panels in the streets of Beirut, our efforts have yielded a more sustainable future. While the progress made is undoubtedly admirable, we recognize that there is still work to be done to achieve the full scope of the 2030 Agenda. Challenges persist, but we maintain our drive for change.
