Year 17 of HIP!

This year, HIP delivered student-led health education across 100+ schools nationwide, reaching 70,000 9th graders with life-changing information. Our curriculum included interactive, hands-on learning experiences for our students. We focused efforts on social media, anxiety, stress, depression, vaping, eating disorders, relationships, decision-making, and access to care---just to name a few.

Spring Roundtable

HIP student presidents, from across our 65 Miami high schools, came together for our Spring Presidents’ Roundtable, hosted by Gulliver Prep. Students led honest, meaningful conversations with community members about the health challenges they face. The peer educators shared how the HIP program is transformational for the 9th graders they teach. They also discussed how the HIP program, and its leadership development training, impacted them personally.

School Site Visits

Throughout the year, we welcomed community members to Coral Gables, Palmetto, MAST, Killian, and Cutler Bay to see HIP in action. Guests step into the classroom, hear directly from our peer educators and connect with our faculty sponsors and administrators. They get to witness, first-hand, the powerful impact of HIP on these school communities.

LeadersHIP Society

The LeadersHIP Society is HIP’s annual giving program. This society was established to recognize and thank HIP’s individual donors and foundations who support programming in our partner high schools.

The LeadersHIP Society is a vital part of HIP's work. By joining, you’ll gain meaningful access to the HIP young leaders that are transforming our communities.
