HISA SA Reboot In response to many requests from our SA members, the HISA SA committee is getting a reboot. Last week when HISA CEO Dr Louise Schaper was in Adelaide, she took the opportunity to host a HISA Meet-up at the pub. It was great to see such interest in rebooting the branch from a group of committed people from across the spectrum of digital health. Thanks to everyone who came along. Stay tuned on HISA News for further HISA SA updates in the coming months.

State and Federal CCIO Networking at HISA QLD We had a fantastic turnout in Brisbane recently for our networking event with State CCIO Prof Keith McNeil and CCIO for the Australian Digital Health Agency, Dr Monica Trujillo. A candid conversation about career journeys and opportunities for clinical leaders ensued (spoiler alert there are a LOT of opportunities!). If youre a clinical digital health leader or an emerging clinical leader in digital health, join the CXIO Network here.

Thank you to everyone who joined the CXIO Networks inaugural webinar event last week. It was an engaging discussion that touched upon the importance of this network and its priorities, how it can benefit clinicians, patients and the overall healthcare system, and how members can effectively use this network in their everyday roles. Questions posed by attendees also shed light on the eligibility criteria, how young, emerging clinical informaticians can get involved, and the evolving skillset clinicians need to succeed in a digital world.
You can join the CXIO Network by submitting an Expressions of Interest.

Why you need to be part of HIC 2018By the Chair of HIC 2018 Dr Robin Mann Patient care is advancing incredibly quickly with better engagement, better outcomes and new more integrated models of care; increasingly driven by the availability of new technologies, increasing availability of data and advances in ways of using it. You need to attend at least one major conference a year and here is why I think HIC is the one to attend. |
