Message from the CEO Queensland Government leads health informatics workforce development: We are calling on Queensland Health employees to put their hands up and register for CHIA. Our largest CHIA cohort to date was announced last week with the department supporting the health informatics certification of up to 100 Queensland Health professionals. Certification will formally recognise the expertise and skills of health informatics, e-health and digital health professionals working in clinical settings, in health ICT or in information management roles across Queensland Health. If you are interested and believe you qualify, take action and be part of this exciting initiative! More information is available on our Queensland CHIA page. Healthcare leaders, led by guide and knowledge translation expert Dr Tamika Heiden, discussed ways to break down the barriers at an event in Canberra this month. The roundtable discussion was part of the Innovating Health thought leadership series presented collaboratively with Accenture.

You will be involved in design, implementation, assessment and review of a variety of technology based initiatives. Based in the heart of vibrant Dandenong, but involving travel throughout the region, this role will also coordinate the promotion and installation of POLAR GP software to practices and have responsibility for the implementation team.
