Message from the CEO I would like to thank HISAs members, friends and colleagues across healthcare and beyond who made the 25th annual conference HIC 2018 a huge success in Sydney last week. At a time when digital health and MyHR were making headlines, the HISA community came together with a reasoned perspective and some great discussion at HIC. As a result, the joint media statement we released with ACHI and HIMAA was a demonstration of the shared focus across the digital health community. There may be a lot more work to do in coming months in this space, however we wont shy away from the challenges presented to us and we have the leadership and experience to make great strides in progressing the digital health agenda. You can see the community spirit around HIC in our photo gallery (the password is HIC2018) and video and dont forget to make a note in your calendar to be part of HIC when we return to Melbourne 11-14 August 2019. Thanks for being part of our 25th anniversary celebrations.
A special shout out to HISA Queensland member Jeff Parker. He's been to every HIC since the conference started! Jeff was on the HISA National Board for 11 years and he was running Queensland branch when HISA become a national body. Jeff also chaired HIC 2005 in Brisbane.
