Message from the CEO: Early Xmas present for DH startups

We were pleased to announce a unique collaboration opportunity this week with the world-renowned Texas Medical Centre in Houston. It brings an immediate and real opportunity for Australia's best and brightest digital health innovators to learn from global healthcare and clinical research leaders on a scale we don't yet see in Australia. We are inviting applications until 23 December - it's a tight timeframe but well worth investigating if you have a product or service ready for growth. This is a rare opportunity to have thousands of real users involved in a co-design and co-creation process. Importantly, over the longer term, the alliance provides the foundations for growing a bi-lateral innovation and technology transfer between Australia and the USA in digital health and medical technology. Act now!

HISA, like many other health organisations, is supporting the Australian Digital Health Agency consultation process in many ways - and now our CHIAs will also be taking part in a health informatics expert consultation session. On 11 January, qualified and registered CHIAs will be gathering in Sydney to share their views with the Agency. Look out for an official invite and save the date.
