Branch nominations: HISA members have always stepped up to share their digital health knowledge. We’re a tribe with fantastic volunteers, committed to our vision of driving change to deliver healthcare in the digital world . Each year in May-June, our State Branch Committees hold their AGMs and renew their leadership teams who set the agenda for activities in their States. Great leadership at branch level is critical for the success of all HISA strategies. Together we are building strong local connections and networks for national influence. We currently have active branches in NSW, QLD, VIC and WA with strong interest in forming committees in ACT, NT, SA and TAS. The Call for Nominations for all State committees is open until Monday April 29 . I would like to encourage you to consider sharing your expertise and knowledge as part of your branch leadership team. We need you ! Together we are shaping Australian healthcare delivery in the digital era. You can find out how to nominate here .

Thank you to everyone who contributed their feedback to the Draft Allied Health Informatics Position Statement . We received more than 60 substantial submissions and the feedback is now being reviewed by a panel. The final paper will be released in the next few months, so watch this space!
