HISTORICAL SOCIETY IS PROUD TO LAUNCH ITS NEW VIDEO SERIES WITH HOST KENT ANDERSON!


Behind the Palms Host, Kent Anderson

The Historical Society of Palm Beach County is proud to release its new video series, Behind the Palms, hosted by Kent Anderson and produced by KiloContent.

Behind the Palms breathes life into the homegrown history of Palm Beach County and the exciting details of never-before-heard stories. The first episode of Behind the Palms, titled “The James Judge,” dives into the remarkable connection of a beached ship on Palm Beach to the formation of the island’s Billionaires Row.

Behind the Palms will premiere on Wednesday, January 26, at 7pm via YouTube. Viewers through https://www.youtube.com/c/HSPBC will have the opportunity to chat live with series host Kent Anderson as well as HSPBC Research Director Rose Guerrero.

“Our city has such an incredible history. I’m so excited to delve into the Historical Society’s archives and tell some of these lesser known but truly unbelievable stories,” said Kent Anderson, series host. “Our goal is to share fun stories in a captivating way and get the community as excited as I am about unique anecdotes that make the Palm Beaches such a special place."

Programing like this video series support the Society’s mission to collect, preserve, and share Palm Beach County’s rich history. By providing an accessible way for people to view and learn their history, the HSPBC is able to connect directly with Palm Beach County residents and others who want to learn how far we have come, and where we have yet to go.

“The Historical Society is excited to launch this new series and provide the public with engaging educational content from the priceless archives we’ve gathered over 80-plus years,” said Jeremy Johnson, HSPBC’s president and CEO.
