The summer of 2020 saw WEDI launch a new venture-- a podcast series called “The Collective Voice of Health IT”. The weekly program, hosted by Matthew Albright, WEDI Board Member, Communications Committee Chair, and Chief Legislative Affairs Officer at Zelis Payments and produced by our own Michael McNutt, WEDI Director of Education and Events, welcomes healthcare IT thought leaders for a half-hour discussion on the most pressing and relevant topics that affect the industry.

Download numbers have steadily climbed since the first episode on July 23, 2020 featuring Ferris Taylor, Executive Director of the HealthCare Executive Group (HCEG). August 2020, the first full month of the program, garnered 147 downloads. A year later, in August 2021, The Collective Voice of Health IT received nearly 550 monthly downloads, the highest number to date. As we enter the 4th quarter of 2021, the podcast is closing in on another special milestone; 5000 total downloads.
