Helping Healthcare Providers Deliver Care More Efficiently
|
|
Latest Updates:
-
Oncology data from visits to Niagara Health's Walker Family Cancer Centre (WFCC), including historical data, is now viewable in ClinicalConnect's Transcriptions Module (where the "Source" is WFCC, and the "Facility" is St. Catharines Site). For additional info, click here.
-
Pathology Reports from the Hamilton Regional Laboratory Medicine Program (HRLMP) are now available to all authorized ClinicalConnect users in PDF format in the Pathology & Genetics Module. In ClinicalConnect, the "Source" of all HRLMP Pathology Reports is "HHSC". For additional info, click here.
In addition, at the end of December, another successful cycle of attestations wrapped up, which was the first to require Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) to log into the Access Governance System (AGS) to perform these attestations. Participant Organizations are reminded of the importance of ensuring that those who hold 'key roles' (Legal Signing Authority, Privacy Contact, Local Registration Authority(s) and Information Security Contact) are always up to date within AGS which will support a smooth attestation cycle and ensure your organization remains in compliance with the ClinicalConnect Terms & Conditions.
Coming Up Next! As an extra layer of security, MFA is being added in certain use cases to ClinicalConnect. More information will be provided to affected organizations in advance of this deployment. Plus, a number of initiatives are also underway for 2024 that will see the ongoing evolution of ClinicalConnect, and the data it can make available to authorized users involved in their patients' circle of care.

Helping Patients Empower
Their Health Journey
|
|
The number of users of ConnectMyHealth, Ontario Health West's free patient portal, continues to grow!
Latest Updates:
New Hospital Partner! Patients who have received care at Joseph Brant Hospital in Burlington will be pleased to know that the hospital began contributing data to ConnectMyHealth on December 6, 2023. If you've been waiting for data from this hospital to become available, we encourage you to register for your account by clicking here!
MFA By SMS Text! In an effort to simplify the Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) process required when accessing ConnectMyHealth, patients now have the option to have a verification code sent to their mobile phone via a text message, similar to security practices used by other organizations or services including financial institutions, rather than using an authenticator app. MFA using an app continues to be available if preferred, and users always have the option to switch authentication methods as well.
