On February 26, 2019, the Anchorage Assembly will be passing a resolution recognizing February as Teen Dating Violence Awareness Month! The meeting will take place in the Anchorage Assembly Chambers of the Loussac Library at 5 p.m. The public is welcome to attend!

Save the Date: Indigenous Research Program, May 2019
The
Alaska Native Tribal Health Consortium (ANTHC) and
Alaska Pacific University (APU) are partnering to offer three weeks of courses. Topics include Indigenous and Western research methodologies, Community-based participatory research, culturally responsive community engagement and communication, health research ethics, and health research and historical trauma. The courses are each a week long. There is no cost to attend. Limited scholarships for travel, room and board are offered. Academic credit available!
