Our April season unfolds —

a time to grow, refine, and move with purpose.

Take a look at what we’ve been working on:

Patricia Zerbini, CFLS has been promoted to Partner.

Since joining the firm in 2022, Patricia has distinguished herself through exceptional skill in high-conflict custody matters and complex financial cases. She brings particular depth in international jurisdictional disputes — including proceedings under the Hague Convention on the Civil Aspects of International Child Abduction and the Uniform Child Custody Jurisdiction and Enforcement Act — and leverages her background in bankruptcy law to navigate intricate financial records, identify hidden assets, and pursue breach of fiduciary duty claims in high-asset divorce matters.

A Bay Area native, Patricia earned her B.A. in Politics and Legal Studies from the University of California, Santa Cruz and her J.D. from Golden Gate University, School of Law in 2009. In 2024, she earned the designation of Certified Family Law Specialist. She has served as Chair of the Santa Clara County Bar Association Family Law Section and has been recognized as a Northern California Super Lawyer since 2023.

Patricia brings more than credentials to her practice — she brings perspective. Born to immigrant parents and fluent in Spanish, she understands firsthand that families in crisis need both strong advocacy and steady guidance. That commitment, combined with her growing reputation in complex litigation, makes this promotion a natural and well-earned next step.

Hoover Krepelka, LLP has expanded to Southern California with the opening of two new offices in Los Angeles and Westlake Village. This growth allows the firm to extend its family law services to clients throughout Ventura, Los Angeles and Orange County.

As the firm continues to grow, its commitment remains unchanged: to provide thoughtful, strategic, and compassionate representation during some of life’s most important transitions. The firm looks forward to building meaningful relationships within these communities and serving individuals and families with the highest level of care and professionalism.

Hoover Krepelka, LLP was pleased to attend APABA Silicon Valley’s first happy hour of the year at INDO Restaurant & Lounge, hosted by the Social and Mentorship Committees.

Representing the firm were Partner Christine Pham, Senior Associate Joy Antonette Diaz, and Head of Marketing Vivian Tran. The event provided a great opportunity to connect with fellow members and engage ahead of the upcoming mentorship matching process. We look forward to continuing to support APABASV at future events.

Hoover Krepelka, LLP hosted an office CPR/AED training session for firm members, led by EnjoyCPR LLC. The session provided a valuable opportunity to learn or refresh essential life-saving skills, with participants receiving a 2-year certification. Held in the San Jose conference room and instructed by George Joseph, the training was a meaningful and impactful experience. Special thanks to the partners for sponsoring this important initiative.

This year, we celebrated Administrative Professionals’ Day with a team lunch at Il Fornaio.

Grateful for the team who keeps our days on track - from managing calendars and client communications to keeping the office running seamlessly. Your attention to detail and steady support make a real difference every day.
