| | Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) Heritage Month | | |
This month offers an opportunity to reflect on the richness of AAPI cultures, the resilience of their histories, and the impact of their continued contributions to the legal profession and beyond.
At Hoover Krepelka, LLP, we are grateful for the diverse perspectives, experiences, and voices that strengthen not only our firm, but also the communities we serve throughout the Bay Area, Los Angeles, Ventura County, Westlake Village and Orange County. Representation, inclusion, and cultural understanding continue to shape the way we connect with our clients and one another.

International Day of Families, 5/15 | |
In recognition of the United Nations’ International Day of Families, we reflect on this year’s theme, “Families, Inequalities and Child Wellbeing.”
As a family law firm, we see how inequality, financial instability, and limited access to support services can deeply impact families and children. Strengthening family-centered policies and resources is essential to promoting stability, opportunity, and long-term well-being. We remain committed to supporting families through some of life’s most important transitions and advocating for outcomes that prioritize the best interests of children.
| In observance of Memorial Day, our office closed on Monday, May 25, as we take time to honor and remember the courageous service members who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. Their bravery and dedication continue to inspire us, and we are deeply grateful for the freedoms their sacrifice helped protect. |

An inspiring evening with Symphony San Jose under the direction of conductor Vinay Parameswaran.
From Antonín Dvořák’s Carnival Overture, to Mason Bates’ groundbreaking Philharmonia Fantastique, and the breathtaking beauty of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 6, the program was a powerful reminder of how music can celebrate joy, innovation, unity, and our connection to the natural world.

Our team at Hoover Krepelka, LLP was honored to attend the 20th Anniversary Conference Gala for the National Conference of Vietnamese American Attorneys (NCVAA) in San Francisco.
The evening was filled with meaningful conversations, celebration, and fun remarks from outgoing President Michael Nguyen as he officially passed the baton to incoming President Huy Nguyen. It was inspiring to reflect on how far the organization has come over the past 20 years and the strong community that continues to support and uplift Vietnamese American attorneys nationwide.
Thank you to Vietnamese American Bar Association of Northern California for sponsoring our attendance. We were proud to have Partner Christine Pham, Senior Associate Joy Antonette Diaz, and Head of Marketing Vivian Tran represent HK at such a memorable event.

| Asian Mental Health Collective (AMHC) | |
This month, we are proud to spotlight the important work of the Asian Mental Health Collective (AMHC), an organization dedicated to supporting the mental health and holistic wellbeing of Asian diaspora communities.
Through culturally responsive resources, advocacy, and community-centered programming, AMHC continues to create meaningful spaces for healing, connection, and support.
AMHC is currently running a fundraising campaign to support its free therapy funds and other programs that expand access to mental health resources for Asian diaspora communities. A generous donor is matching all donations up to $15,000, and the campaign has already raised $8,712 toward this goal.
Hoover Krepelka is honored to support this initiative through a donation, and we encourage others to consider contributing as well. Every contribution helps make culturally responsive mental health support more accessible to those who need it most.
Thank you to the Asian Mental Health Collective for the impactful work you continue to do within our communities.
