Veterans Day

We extend our deepest gratitude to all veterans — including our clients, colleagues, and community members — for their service and dedication. We are reminded that the values we uphold in our work — integrity, compassion, and justice — are the very principles our veterans have fought to defend. Thank you for your service.

Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving is a time to pause, reflect, and celebrate the blessings that enrich our lives. As we gather with loved ones, let’s cherish the warmth of togetherness, share moments of gratitude, and create memories to last a lifetime.

Please note that our office will be closed for the holiday and will reopen on December 1st. On behalf of everyone at HK, we wish you a wonderful holiday weekend.

Dividing assets in a California divorce isn’t just about who gets what—it’s about protecting years of work, investments, and planning. With community-property laws, income and property earned during marriage are often considered shared, which can include businesses, trusts, and unvested stock. Understanding how high-value assets are treated is essential to safeguarding your financial future.

Martha's Kitchen

At Hoover Krepelka, LLP believe in giving back to the communities where we live and work. One organization that exemplifies compassion and impact is Martha’s Kitchen, a trusted provider of food security in our region.

Founded in 1981 by Louise Benson, Martha’s Kitchen began with simple peanut butter and jelly sandwiches made in a garage. Today, they prepare and distribute nearly 230,000 meals each month, delivering nourishment to families, seniors, veterans, and others facing food insecurity. In 2024 alone, they provided almost 2.5 million meals and rescued 60,000 pounds of food per month to reduce waste—truly demonstrating that food is a fundamental human right.

Hoover Krepelka, LLP is proud to support Martha’s Kitchen through community fundraising. We are inspired by their mission to provide meals with dignity, and we are committed to helping them expand their reach and impact.
