Contracted by ASTHO, HLN conducted data modernization site visits in Virginia, Minnesota, and Rhode Island in August–September 2024. State health departments assessed their strategies through presentations and discussions. The visits highlighted approaches, challenges, and best practices, culminating in a report with key findings and recommendations for other public health agencies.

Two Recent Updates for our award-winning ICE Vaccine Evaluation & Forecasting System


In April, ICE expanded support for the updated dosing schedule of Bexsero (MenB‑4C), adding the new Penmenvy (CVX 328) vaccine and refines group-level recommendations for Seasonal COVID‑19 vaccines. In June ICE updated vaccine logic and forecasting for Hepatitis A, Hib, MMR, Orthopoxvirus, Pneumococcal (adult & childhood), Polio, and RSV.

The 2025 NACCHO360 Conference in Anaheim brought together over 2,200 passionate public health professionals — and a touch of Disney magic. AIRA 2025 National Meeting Did Not Disappoint!



The AIRA 2025 National Meeting did not disappoint as we came together as an IIS community in Spokane, WA (April 28 – May 1) to learn and discuss key topics of IIS modernization, sustainability, interoperability, AI and the timely concept of managing change. The opportunity to share ideas, best practices and lessons learned across the public health ecosystem was inspiring to all who attended.
