Reminders for HLSP members:
- HLSP grant money: please make sure you to use up any remaining funds by March 31, 2020. Money remaining cannot be rolled over to the next year, as the grant period runs from April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020.
- Final Reports of items you have spent your 2019-2020 grant money will be due by May 15, 2020. Forms will be sent out in mid-March (please remember to include your receipts). Please return completed forms to Molly Brown on or before May 15, 2020.

About the presenter
: Jessica Pettitt, M.Ed., CSP, pulls together her stand-up comedy years with 15+ years of diversity trainings in a wide range of organizations to serve groups to move from abstract fears to actionable habits that lead teams to want to work together.
This webinar series is being underwritten by the Association of Academic Health Sciences Libraries (AAHSL), the Medical Library Association (MLA), and the National Network of Libraries of Medicine (NNLM).

The Wuhan Coronavirus outbreak began in December in a seafood and poultry market in Wuhan, a city of 11 million, and is spreading quickly. The virus is now affecting numerous cities in China, as well as Southeast Asia, Australia, France, Canada, and the United States. As of this writing the virus has infected almost 3,000 people, and has killed at least 82.
- The World Health Organization's (WHO) Emergency Committee met on January 22, 2020 to provide public health advice on this outbreak. To read the proceedings of the meeting, please see this link.
- The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is closely monitoring the outbreak and has an updated Situation Summary available, which includes what to expect and their response to this virus, here.
- The New York State Department of Health has also released information in regard to the Coronavirus, with links to additional resources, here.
Additionally, the US State Department has
raised the travel advisory
to China and released information on what to do if you must travel there, or have been there within the last 14-days.
