Hello Community Providers,

As you log into HMIS, you may notice that your programs have slightly different names. We have just completed a project to rename all of the programs in HMIS to fit with our new standard naming convention. To avoid confusion, we are reaching out to all of our HMIS users to let them know. Our new naming convention looks like this:

[Agency Acronym]: [Provider's Program Name] - [Program Type Acronym]

Below you will find examples of these updates

BI: Men's House - TH

Formally known as: Bridges, Inc's Transitional Housing program, "Men's House"

LFCC: Children's Outpatient Program - SSO

Formally known as: Lao Family Counseling Center's Supportive Services Only program called "Children's Outpatient Program"

Here is a list of all of the program types and their acronyms

• Coordinated Entry - CE
• Day Shelter - DS
• Emergency Shelter - ES
• Homeless Prevention - HP
• Housing Only (Permanent Housing) - PH
• Housing with Services w/ no disability status required (Permanent Housing) - PH
• Permanent Supportive Housing - PSH
• Rapid ReHousing - RRH
• Rapid ReHousing Services Only - RRH.S
• Street Outreach - STO
• Supportive Services Only - SSO
• Transitional Housing - TH

The recent name changes in the system will not impact users or the functionality of the system. These updates are purely external to improve clarity and consistency.
