HMS NEWS IN THE MIDDLE
EDUCATE - MOTIVATE - INSPIRE

Hello Parents and Families of Harding Middle School,

The winter holiday season is quickly approaching. Harding school is looking festive and we are getting into the Christmas spirit by giving back. November was a month bursting with activity. Our winter sports seasons have started and the Bye, Bye Birdie production was amazing. Our students are making a positive impact in the community through our Veteran’s Breakfast, the SADD Club care packages for the Troops and participating in the SCS Stuff a Bus.
December will be a busy month, and we want our students to stay focused and driven. Remind your child to work hard now, so they may enjoy their holiday break. We are right in the middle of the second nine weeks and progress reports will be available Tuesday, December 4 th .
We may also need to share weather-related school closings information. HMS uses our district school Messenger system, radio and the local television stations to notify parents when school delays or closings are announced, for the earliest available information. December also signals the arrival of our Christmas break. All Steubenville City Schools will observe winter break from December 21 - January 2, and classes will resume Thursday, January 3.
Please check the calendar of important dates for further information about events happening at Harding Middle School. If you ever have a concern or question, do not hesitate to call us for assistance. I would also like to take this time to wish each of you a Happy Holidays!!! Enjoy this season with your loved ones. Family makes the holidays special and each of your Stallions make Harding magical. We are so proud of them and hope you are too!

Happy Holidays!
Sincerely,
Principal Bryan Mills

Online Report Cards

Beginning this 2018-2019 school year, parents of Steubenville City Schools students will have to go online (Progress Book) to find their child's quarterly and semester grades.

SCS will be sending out a call notification to parents and guardians to remind them to check Progress Book at the end of each grading period.

Parents without access to the internet are free to go to the office to request the hard copy, and we would be happy to print one for you. We appreciate your continued support and cooperation.
