Whats Happening In May
MAY 2019

Message from our Principal

As another year comes to a close, it is time to say Good-Bye to our 8th grade students and wish them well at Big Red next year. This is a time of not only remembering happy times and sad times, but also a time to reflect on what you accomplished this past year. Did you meet the goals that you set back in August 2018? Did you come up short on some and on others you hit it out of the ballpark? As long as you take the time to look back and identify those goals you came up short on; set those as positives for next fall. It is never too late to re-evaluate the positives in your life and get rid of the negatives. Continue to work hard this last month of May. Have a safe summer and the staff and administration of HMS look forward to seeing the 5th through 7th graders back next August and welcome the 4th grade students from the district Elementary buildings.

Principal Bryan Mills

Attention 6th grade parents,

The Meningococcal and T-dap vaccines are required for entry into the 7th grade. This is an Ohio Department of Health mandate. Proof of the vaccines or an exemption must be on file by the 2nd week of school in 2019 or they will not be allowed to return to school until it's done. Please be aware attendance and truancy procedures will still take place if your student is missing school.
