HMS releases TimeControl Industrial 8 with many new features

Following the recent successful release of version 8 of the popular timesheet system TimeControl, publisher HMS Software has announced the release of the Industrial version of which includes a number of significant features.

It's been a busy time here at HMS. Following the successful launch of TimeControl version 8 a few days ago, we are very excited to now announce the availability of TimeControl Industrial version 8. TimeControl Industrial is an edition of TimeControl which includes Crew Timesheets, Project Material consumption, Equipment usage and Production accomplished data collection.

We believe this new version of TimeControl Industrial is significant in the project management industry. Aside from the massive update to the interface, the new TimeControl Industrial Mobile app - available to Google Play for Android device users and on the Apple Store for iOS users is free to TimeControl Industrial users and includes functions specific to the Industrial version of TimeControl.

New features in TimeControl Industrial 8 - a multi-function system that includes support for Project Tracking, Time and Attendance, Time and Billing, Human Resource Tracking, and Field Data Collection include:

Crew Timesheets in TimeControl Mobile

TimeControl 8 includes the free TimeControl Mobile App and TimeControl Industrial users can, for the first, time create and edit Crew Timesheets and edit Crew members while mobile.

Manage Crews in TimeControl Mobile

Not only can supervisors and team leaders create crew timesheets while on the go, they can also use the TimeControl Mobile App to update team members. A team lead who is out in the field with their crew can start their shift by updating their crew and then updating Crew Timesheet information as the day progresses no matter where they are.

Support for TimeControl Mobile when disconnected from the Internet

TimeControl Mobile has been enhanced so that if connection to the Internet is interrupted; something that can occur more frequently in remote construction sites, the App will continue functioning and will automatically synchronize with the central application as soon as a connection is re-established.

Mobile Views

The TimeControl Mobile App includes dynamic data analysis for management of all timesheet data under their control. Instant graphics in numerous formats will enable rapid decision making based on where time is being spent.

All new Resource Planning

All new Resource Planning functionality that allows an organization to not only track actuals but make plans directly in the system of where resources will be required. This will allow planned vs. actual reporting with the already-extensive timesheet actuals.

TimeControl Industrial 8 is available for download right now for clients who have an active support agreement at Industrial.TimeControl.com/support/updates. TimeControl Industrial will be available next week and TimeControl Online clients will be upgraded automatically in mid-July. We will inform TimeControl Online users at least a week before their systems are updated.
