You're invited to experience an Easter Cantata at HMUMC!

EASTER CANTATA: April 16

In a beautiful choral extension of our current “I Am” Sermon Series, The Easter Choir and Orchestra is delighted to share “In His Own Words” by Dan and Heidi Goeller on Sunday, April 16, 2023. This allows us to continue our celebration of what Jesus said and taught through worship on the Sunday following Easter. “In His Own Words” is an exciting offering by Dan Goeller, who literally only included Jesus’ words throughout the cantata, including all the texts shared by the narrator. The Easter Cantata is presented during our 9:15 and 11 o’clock services in the HMUMC Worship Center. The cantata is a compelling retelling of many of the “I Am” statements of Jesus, as well as other major teachings by the Master. So, make plans today to come experience “In His Own Words” for yourself, and invite a neighbor, co-worker, family member or friend to join you.

Loving Others Despite our Differences

We are living in a world that is marked and defined by what divides and separates us. But God invites us to live in peace and to love one another, even with those whom we disagree.

You are invited to join us for a four-week Bible study, starting April 12, and conversation that focuses on living in peace even when, especially when we disagree! We will explore four stories of siblings in the Bible who teach us how to live in peace and love one another, despite our differences.
