Contracts, cookies & coffee... Oh my!

Unsure what an Honors Contract is all about? Looking for tips on making your Honors College curriculum work for YOU? Your Honors College advisors are eager to talk with you over cookies and coffee.
  • An honors contract is an agreement between an undergraduate student and a faculty instructor that allows the student to turn a standard course into an honors course.
Two "how to contract" open house events will be held in the Innovation Forum (the main lobby area of Honors College and Residences North) on:
  • Tuesday, Aug. 21 from 9:00-10:30 a.m.
  • Wednesday, Aug. 22 from 1:30-3:00 p.m.
Stop by with questions about the contracting process or to pick up the contracting forms. Cookies and coffee will be provided!

Get to know your Honors House with the House Hurrah

This event, packed with fun social activities, is our residential house welcome.

Your Honors House is an intellectual and social community that will enable you to forge stronger connections with faculty and each other. Whether you are a first-year or senior, you will find value in our carefully-planned house activities. Your house is a place to find support, ask questions and have fun.

In a nod to the Honors College icons of the forge and torch, the houses are named after forgeable metals.  Each will have a separate meeting time in Honors Hall:
  • 7:00-7:30pm - Copper House
  • 7:30-8:00pm - Palladium House
  • 8:00-8:30pm - Platinum House
