HO Scale 55' Steel Coil Car
with Removable Coil Load
Steel Coil Cars are specialized freight cars designed for carrying rolls of sheet metal for industrial uses. Early examples first debuted in the 1960s, and today the cars are a common sight on freight trains across North America. Bachmann's HO Scale 55' Steel Coil Car features removable hoods with detailed cradles beneath and six "steel coil" loads, metal wheels with RP25 contours, and body-mounted E-Z Mate® Mark II couplers. Two new paint schemes are now shipping, in addition to our existing popular schemes.
