Please CLICK HERE for a national statement from Hockey Canada's Tom Renney, Chief Executive Officer, and Scott Smith, President and Chief Operating Officer, on the return-to-hockey process in Canada.
Safety guidelines are now available (below) that provide an introduction on how to prepare your association/league for a return to hockey utilizing the protocols outlined. This is this first resource released by Hockey Canada with more to come as developed. Several task groups were created for the RETURN TO HOCKEY FRAMEWORK.
Clearly defined guidelines will help ensure the safety and well-being of all participants. The Safety Guidelines will take hockey associations and leagues through how to prepare for a return to hockey, hygiene, return-to-play protocols and the use of facilities. With the depth of resources comes responsibility, and it is very important for hockey associations, leagues and teams to appoint someone to oversee health and safety protocols.
