December 2023

The purpose of the St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation is to raise, steward and distribute resources to enrich the education of students in the St. Joseph Public Schools District.

Message from Sam Abdelnour

SJPS Foundation President

The SJPS Foundation is uniquely positioned to provide significant funding to meet the diverse and dynamic needs of all learners, and promote academic excellence at every level of the St. Joseph Public Schools. In fact, over $750,000 in grants has already been awarded this school year alone, which will quite literally change the trajectory of students' lives.

Can I count on your support? No greater contribution can be made then to enrich the education of our future leaders. Gifts of any amount are important and appreciated.

All of us at the SJPS Foundation wish you and yours a restful, joyous season!

GRATITUDE

Cultivating an Attitude of Gratitude at SJHS

Dr. Jamie Culver, English Teacher and Teacher Librarian, was recently awarded a SJPS Foundation grant to fund a thank you note station in the SJHS Media Center.

Grace Humes, Lanie Smith, and Gail Vaikutis

"This Thank You Note Station has given our students the opportunity to express their gratitude for those they love--especially this holiday season. With cutesy cards and pretty pens, this designated space has encouraged and spotlighted this overlooked gesture."
