While Death Valley may seem stark and barren on first glance, it is actually full of life and color. This winter escape takes us to the area when the temperatures are perfect for cycling. Our revamped itinerary let's us enter the park through Hell's gate, and stay at two of the resorts within the park.
We have two itineraries in the Grand Canyon this year - both go Rim to Rim and both stay two nights at the memorable Phantom Ranch on the Colorado River. Our spring trip runs south to north and is the most extensive exploration of the national park that we offer. Our fall trip runs north to south with a warm up hike in beautiful nearby Sedona. This is a bucket list hike for every true hiker, and it does not disappoint.
Come play in two of Utah's "Big Five" national parks. These iconic parks are popular for a reason - spires, hoodoos, spine like ridges, deep canyons, river filled slots, and so many sweeping vistas, you might run out of disc space.
Southern California in the Springtime! With perfect weather, cool ocean breezes and lost canyons to explore, this cycling tour will be unforgettable. With just one hotel move on the tour, you’ll have a chance to unpack and enjoy the Southern California vibe, not to mention the excellent wines of the region, after a good day’s cycling.
Adventurers have long been intrigued by the giant redwood trees found in California. Our tour to Sequoia National Park visits these massive sentinels, along with the nearby mountains and canyons of the southern Sierra Nevada range.
Arches National Park in Utah contains the largest concentration of natural arches in the world. That's just the start of the natural beauty of the area. We'll explore gaping canyons, open desert, towering mesas covered with stands of pinion and juniper, spires and towers, and miles and miles of colorful slick rock. A float on the Colorado river and a stay in the outdoor enthusiasts' nucleus of Moab, UT are included in this tour.
