WE LOVE SHARING THE HOLIDAYS WITH OUR VOLUNTEERS!
EVENING OF GRATITUDE 10TH ANNIVERSARY
The Children’s Hunger Project recognized our volunteers, supporters, donors, and past and present executive directors with a special evening of gratitude! County Commissioner Bryan Lober gave TCHP a financial gift as well as a proclamation declaring December 10, 2020 and each year going forward as “The Children’s Hunger Project Day.”

“Gratitude is not just saying thank you. It’s that warm, fuzzy feeling that goes along with the appreciation that you have for those you are thanking. Our volunteers pour so much love into TCHP. It’s truly a gift to be part of such an awesome cause.” - TCHP Executive Director Cheryl Cominsky

Throughout the event, many staff members, community volunteers, church organizations, and community partners were thanked and appreciated. Brevard County’s needs have grown over the past 10 years, but knowing the support the community has provided gives TCHP renewed determination and inspiration to continue their work fighting child hunger.

Many thanks to the evening's speakers to include; Board Chair Karen Montas, TCHP Founder Bob Barnes, Sheriff Wayne Ivey, County Commission Chair Bryan Lober, School Superintendent Dr. Mark Mullins, Palm Bay Elementary Teacher Barbi Miller, Pastor Corky Calhoun and IT expert Sean Phelan.

"The Children’s Hunger Project has been guided by angels, and built by the effort and sweat of our volunteers." - TCHP Founder Bob Barnes

If your life has been touched by The Children’s Hunger Project, please enjoy the presentation as it was live streamed from St. John the Evangelist Church.

TECH REV
“Participating in a volunteer activity is already very fulfilling, but getting to do that with your co-workers allows for a great bonding opportunity. Since many team members are from the Brevard area, and parents of school-aged children, this mission hits close to home for many.”

Pirtek Space Coast has been an ongoing supporter helping our kids. Their packing events with family and friends speak volumes about their community commitment to helping feed hungry children

PLEASE CONSIDER MAKING A TAX-DEDUCTIBLE DONATION TO HELP FEED CHILDREN IN BREVARD COUNTY
You can help level the playing field for a child in need. Your donation can create a positive change when it comes to a child’s success, not only in school, but in life. It costs just $150 to feed a hungry child every weekend of the school year – just $12.50 per month, less than 42 cents per day.
For those who can make a significant impact, consider joining the Children’s Circle of Hope Society. This society is open to anyone contributing $1,000 or more annually. Contributions can be set up on a recurring basis of $84 per month.

Thank you for considering making a meaningful gift to help us fight hunger in Brevard.
