ART & MAJESTY IN RENAISSANCE ENGLAND
METROPOLITAN MUSEUM OF ART
England was a thriving center for the arts during the Tudors' reign. This exhibit feature nearly 100 works of Florentine sculptors, German painters, and Flemish weavers as well as a focus on the distinctly English style of the time. Objects from the Met and around the world are on view.

ALEX KATZ: GATHERING
GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM OF ART
This exhibit will fill Frank Lloyd Wright's entire rotunda at the GUGGENHEIM MUSEUM OF ART this fall. Bright energetic canvasses, sketches, drawings, and cut-outs are drawn from the artist’s eight creative decades where his subject matter is mostly his native New York City and coastal Maine.

NEW YORK: 1962-1964
THE JEWISH MUSEUM
NEW YORK: 1962-1964 explores a three-year explosion of culture and art in the early 1960s. Informed in part by transformational events such as the Cuban Missile Crisis, the Freedom March in Washington, and the assassination of John F Kennedy, Jr, more than 150 works are on view by dozens of artists who lived and worked in New York City at the time.
