The business meeting will start promptly at 5 pm, and we’ll wrap up by drawing names for the door prizes. Each family that RSVPs and attends will receive one “Meal-To-Go” to share.

Please RSVP by April 5^th with the first and last names of everyone from your family planning to attend.  RSVP is required for meal-to-go and to be eligible for the prize drawings. One prize winner per account number.

Candidate Biography

The following individual is a candidate for the credit union Board of Directors. There is one position up for election on the Board with a three-year term. Additional nominations will be taken from the floor at the annual meeting. 

Mike Henry – Mike has lived in Cedar Rapids for his entire life. He worked at the Quaker Oats factory for 39 years. He has been a member of QOCU for 27 years and has served on the Board for 23 years. Mike currently serves on the Board’s Credit Committee. He and his wife, Kathy, have two daughters and five grandchildren which keep them busy. Mike likes to hunt, fish, and babysit his grandchildren during his free time. Mike also enjoys traveling.

Deposits

A few things to remember about making a deposit:

• Checks deposited at a Shared Branch location will have a 5 business day hold.
• Checks and cash deposited at an ATM will have a 3-business day hold.

To avoid a multiday hold, we encourage members to make the deposit at the credit union during business hours or after hours by using our night deposit drop which is located in the drive-up.
