Signature Science’s Advanced Genomics Laboratory has been accredited by the ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) to the ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality standard for forensic testing of Single-Nucleotide Polymorphisms (SNPs).

As part of the accreditation process, our laboratory successfully passed ANAB’s assessment with zero non-conformances and demonstrated full compliance with the FBI’s Quality Assurance Standards for Forensic Testing Laboratories.

This accreditation reflects our ongoing commitment to quality, scientific rigor, and providing trusted forensic testing services to our clients..

Accredited DNA profiling methods using Verogen's ForenSeq® Kintelligence Kit and Illumina's Infinium Global Screening Array are capable of processing a wide range of sample types including blood, bone, and touch DNA, even when the samples are degraded or contain minimal DNA input.

Forensic analysts from SigSci were thrilled to return as presenters at the Girlstart Girls in STEM Conference 2025 in Austin, TX this past weekend! This annual event gives 4th–8th grade girls the chance to explore hands-on science, technology, engineering, and math workshops — all designed to spark curiosity and highlight the exciting career possibilities waiting for them in STEM.

Our analysts led the girls through a favorite DNA 101 activity - Strawberry DNA Extraction! By putting on their scientists caps, the participants were able to physically see the strawberry's DNA strands by the end of the workshop!
