Dear Sea Crest Community, 

The Search Committee is committed to finding an incredible Head of School for Sea Crest and in an effort to provide transparency, we wanted to provide an update on our progress thus far. 

The Head of School position announcement, description, timeline and link to apply is posted on the Sea Crest School website. If you would like to review the description, or know of anyone who may be interested and whom you would recommended for the position, the details can be found here. The position announcement can also be found here on the site of our executive search firm Morris & Berger. 

Morris & Berger has now contacted its extensive network of candidates, referrals from past searches and others who may be interested. They also posted our job opening to specialty websites, known for Head of School searches, as well as general websites such as LinkedIn and others. 

Morris & Berger is pleased with the level of interest in our open position thus far and is currently conducting initial screenings of prospective candidates. 

In the coming weeks, the Search Committee will work with Morris & Berger to review the long list of candidates and narrow the pool to the mid-list to advance to the first round of interviews with Morris & Berger. Morris & Berger will then interview mid-list candidates and prepare detailed interview reports on recommended candidates. The Search Committee will then meet with Morris & Berger to discuss results of mid-list interviews and narrow the list of candidates to a short list, who will be interviewed by the Search Committee. 

We will continue to communicate the committee’s progress over the coming weeks and months in an open and transparent fashion. If you have any questions regarding the search process, please reach out to us.
