HELP NEEDED: Aquatics Director

We're seeking an Aquatics Director for Summer Camp at Camp T. Brady Saunders! Candidates must attend National Camp School and commit to working at camp from June 18th through July 22nd. This paid position includes housing in an air-conditioned cabin, three square meals a day at our fine dining establishment, an awesome tan, and the opportunity to give local youth one seriously epic summer experience. We have many employment opportunities at Summer and Day Camp available for applicants 16 years of age and up.

Day of Service Flag Collection

If you haven't registered for a service project, please consider collecting flags for retirement. We're partnering with the Virginia War Memorial to collect flags in need of retirement. If you or your Unit is in possession of flags that need to be retired, please bring them to the Virginia War Memorial’s main entrance at 621 S. Belvidere St, Richmond, VA 23220 on May 13th between 9 AM and 4 PM and place them in the provided collection area.

Cub Adventure Camp Summer Camp

Early Bird Pricing Ends Soon!

Monday, May 15th is the last day when you can get the early bird discount for our 4-day, 3-night resident camp program at Cub Adventure Camp this summer. The early bird rate is $170 per Scout, and it goes up to the regular fee of $185 at 11:59 PM sharp on May 15th. Every little bit helps these days, so we wanted to make sure you didn’t miss this opportunity to save a little money while still giving your child one of the best program experiences that we offer.

Sustainability Merit Badge (Eagle Required) - July 22nd

Scouts working on the Sustainability merit badge learn to conserve energy at home and think about how their food, housing, and consumption choices impact society at large. They make a plan to use the Earth’s resources more wisely. They also learn how the Scout Law and the Scout Oath promote more sustainable communities. The Battlefield and Rivers District invite you to complete this Eagle Required badge on July 22nd in Mechanicsville.
