Scout Sunday is coming up on February 5, 2023. An organization can adopt a specific Sunday to celebrate. It also is permissible for a local church to celebrate on the Sunday most acceptable to the pastor and congregation.

2023 Camp Card Fundraiser is Open for Sign-Ups!

Looking for an easy fundraising opportunity? Camp Cards are a great way to raise dollars for your unit and can also be used to provide the necessary funds needed for summer and fall camping programs! Cards are sold for $5 each with 50% of the proceeds kept with the unit and 50% returned to Council. Unsold cards can be returned by the scheduled end date without penalty making this a RISK-FREE fundraising opportunity.

Mental Health Professionals Needed for National Jamboree

Be a part of cutting-edge mental health care at the National Scout Jamboree in the summer of 2023! National Catholic Committee on Scouting Scholarship Applications Due March 1st

Ten scholarships totaling $27,000 are being awarded this year by the National Catholic Committee on Scouting (NCCS) and are based on the applicant's service to the Catholic Church, their Community, School and Scouting. Catholic BSA Scouts, Sea Scouts, and Venturers who meet the eligibility requirements are encouraged to apply. Applications must be postmarked by March 1st, 2023, for consideration.

This fillable PDF needs to be completed by unit leaders before arriving at camp check-in. Save the Date for Scout Night at the Diamond

The Richmond Flying Squirrels invite Scouts of all ages to come out on July 28th for Scout Night at the Diamond! Gates open at 5:30pm. A Scout Parade (wear your uniforms and bring your unit flags) at 5:45pm, then the game at 6:35pm. For $10, you'll get your ticket, as well as a commemorative patch, the pre-game parade, and a movie and campout on the field.

Shooting Sports is one of the most popular activities at the camps, and proper supervision is a must to continue holding activities on the ranges. To open a range at T. Brady Saunders, we must have two 21-year-old supervisors, a Range Safety Officer, and an instructor for the firearm in use.

Huguenot Trail is proudly offering the Scoutmaster / Assistant Scoutmaster Leader Specific Training on Saturday, March 18th at Camp T. Brady Saunders. The cost is $5.00 and helps new leaders fulfill some of their required training. Water, light refreshments, and patches (for those who have fully completed their required training) will be provided.

Huguenot Trail is offering both BALOO and IOLS at T. Brady Saunders the weekend of April 15th - 16th. IOLS is required for Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, and Associate Crew Advisors. Packs and Webelos Dens must have a BALOO trained leader in attendance.

Brick Program

A great way to honor your Eagle Scout is to sponsor a personally engraved Eagle Brick. The cost is $200 per brick which includes engraving of up to eighteen characters per line (letters, space and punctuation) with a maximum of two lines. To be included in the 2023 Eagle Brick Unveiling Ceremony, brick orders must be received by July 7th, 2023.
