HOW Connections to Women Everywhere
It's my last day of skiing in Montana. The snow gods blessed us with new snow overnite so it will be a Pocket Rocket powder day. I'll ski a run for all of you!
As the coordinator for HOW I'm blessed with connections to many, many women who share my passion for being outdoors. The 6 degree connection is usually much closer to 3 degrees when we start talking about skiing or paddling or simply enjoying nature. Truly we are all connected by our love to venture outdoors.
One of our goals with HOW is to be the connecting link to other wonderful women's programs. Thank you to our winter partners; Ski Away, Wings for Women and Green Fit. Many HOW members have joined and some are even instructing for these programs. Spring and summer connections include women's programs with venues outside the Twin Cities: Camp Du Nord Women's Spring Retreat, Chris Heeter's Wild Institute Women's trips, Wilderness Inquiry, and Adventures in Good Company. If you're looking for a summer adventure check out their offerings!
While here in Montana I've hooked up with Turi Heatherington of Molte Yoga Retreats. She found HOW through our website and being a Minnesota girl she thought it would be a good connection. Turi has put together a proposal for a summer trip at a Diamond J's Ranch on the Madison River for August 8-11. See the details below. We need 8 HOW women to rsvp by April 5 to make this trip a reality. If you are interested please rsvp to Molte Yoga Retreats today.
We are also doing some HOW summer adventures. Look for them here next week!
I'm off to ski Moonlight Basin. Have a great weekend and I'll look forward to seeing you all back in Minnesota!
