What makes the Farmers Market so special?
When you shop at the Highland Park Farmers Market, you are supporting small businesses and reinvesting in our local community. The HP Farmers Market connects customers directly with small farms and businesses, and we get to know (and thank!) the growers and makers of our food. These connections help create strong and thriving communities.
Buying locally grown and produced food also promotes a healthier, more sustainable food system by reducing travel distance and preserving the nutrients in crops — a win-win! Here's to a great year of delicious local food, supporting our New Jersey farmers, local food producers, and our community.
And don't forget, the Highland Park Farmers Market accepts SNAP/EBT for eligible items. Every SNAP dollar spent at the Market is doubled (up to $25 per week), providing additional funds for fresh produce through the Good Food Bucks program. Several farms at the Market also accept WIC and Senior FMNP. These programs allow us to increase accessibility so that all of our neighbors can enjoy the Market.
Join us on Friday, February 21 to kick off another fabulous season of gathering with friends and neighbors for fresh local food, music, and connection at the Highland Park Farmers Market!
