Camper’s Corner: Spring Camper Reunion

Our Spring Camper Reunion at John’s Incredible Pizza & Arcade was a blast! Laughter, games, and memories filled the air as campers reconnected with friends, shared stories from their time at Henry’s Place, and enjoyed a fun day of pizza, prizes, and fellowship.

These reunions are more than just fun, they are a chance for our campers to feel the lasting sense of community and belonging that Henry’s Place strives to create all year long. Seeing their smiles and hearing their laughter reminds us why we do what we do.

A special thanks to our board members Loren and Aaron for attending and pouring into the HP kids, you make a lasting difference in their lives!

None of this would have been possible without YOU, our faithful supporters, volunteers, and prayer warriors. Your love, generosity, and dedication create moments our HP kids will treasure forever.

These moments remind us Henry’s Place isn’t just a camp, it’s a family bound by love, faith, and something deeper than words.

🌳Gratitude Grove - Guy Martin

It is difficult to fully express the depth of our gratitude as we recognize Guy Martin and the annual Take Aim Nevada Sporting Clay Shooting Event for once again choosing Henry’s Place as the recipient of this year’s proceeds.

Guy’s continued belief in our mission and his commitment to making a difference truly humbles us. Year after year, he leads with integrity and heart and because of that leadership, lives are being changed.

On March 6, 2026, the event was hosted at the Clark County Shooting Range and brought together participants from more than 35 Las Vegas companies. What took place that day was far more than a sporting event. It was a demonstration of community, business leaders, teams, and friends rallying together around a shared purpose.

Through that collective effort, an incredible $40,000 net was raised to support the mission and future of Henry’s Place.

That generosity will help us continue to sustain the legacy we are building together.

To Guy Martin, thank you for championing our cause so faithfully. To the organizing team, sponsors, volunteers, and every participant who took aim for something bigger than themselves, thank you. Your partnership means more to us than we can adequately put into words.

We are deeply grateful for your continued belief in Henry’s Place and the life-changing work happening here every day.

The Lodge Ledger - HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT

Our Lodge Debt Is Officially ZERO!

We are thrilled to share incredible news with our community; the mortgage that was $800k in July 2023 has been paid off in just 2 ½ years!

We have reached a major milestone. Being debt-free positions us for stability, growth, and impact in the years ahead. This achievement belongs to all of us.

While eliminating debt is a huge victory, sustaining the legacy and ensuring we always have the resources needed to serve, maintain, and grow requires consistent support. To remain strong and mission-focused, we are inviting our valued partners to consider supporting us financially with a monthly or quarterly gift.

Consistent partnership allows us to:

· Maintain, improve and grow our facilities to accommodate more campers.

· Invest in programs that transform lives.

· Plan confidently for the future.

The Hirschi Clan

We are thrilled to honor the Hirschi Clan for their extraordinary generosity and the gift that allowed us to dedicate a cabin in honor of Amy Hirschi, the matriarch of this remarkable family.

Though relatively new to the Henry’s Place community, the Hirschis have stepped into a position of leadership and partnership that truly earns this special recognition. From Chad & Crystal to Bill & Amy, their three children, three spouses, and four grandchildren, we are delighted to call them friends.

On December 14, 2025, we celebrated the dedication of Amy’s Sunflowers, a cabin named in Amy’s honor. Amy has demonstrated steadfast strength and faith through life’s many challenges, always looking to her Savior for guidance and sustenance. Like a sunflower, she stands strong and continually turns her face toward the light, inspiring all who know her.

We are profoundly grateful for the Hirschi family’s generosity, faith, and partnership. Their gift and their presence enrich Henry’s Place in immeasurable ways, and we eagerly anticipate all that God has in store as we continue this journey together.

Thank you, Hirschi family, for planting seeds of love, hope, and legacy that will bloom for generations to come.

Welcome to Our Newest Board Member

We are thrilled to welcome an exceptional individual to the Henry’s Place Board of Directors.

Meet Ron Goch

Ron currently serves as the Central and Southern Utah Director of the Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA). He brings a number of strengths to the Henry’s Place Board, including:

Strong connections throughout southern Utah, particularly with youth organizations
Extensive camp experience, including serving as a camp director
Experience serving on multiple non-profit boards

In mid-May 2023, Ron embarked on a 528-mile walk across Utah (north to south) to raise awareness and resources for FCA, completing the journey in just 30 days! He is deeply motivated to lend his talents to make a positive impact on youth through Henry’s Place.

Ron and his wife Susie live in St. George, UT, and are proud parents of three adult children and grandparents to four grandchildren.

Please join us in warmly welcoming Ron to the Henry’s Place Board. We are honored to have him on our team and look forward to the vision, wisdom, and passion he brings.
