We are excited to announce the release of the HPE Apollo 6500 Gen10+ system designed to significantly improve performance for HPC & AI workloads. This purpose-built platform provides unprecedented compute power with industry-leading GPUs, fast GPU interconnects, high-bandwidth fabric, and configurable GPU topology.
Built for the Exascale Era, the HPE Apollo 6500 Gen10+ Systems accelerate performance with NVIDIA HGX A100 Tensor Core GPUs and AMD Instinct™ MI100 accelerators. Below are some of the new system's features:
  • Choice of leading-edge accelerator technology from both NVIDIA & AMD to support the most complex HPC simulations, AI training, and inference models
  • Choice of high speed interconnects whether it is traditional Ethernet, InfiniBand, or HPE Cray Slingshot
  • Enhanced GPU utilization with high-performance power and cooling for top-bin Rome & Milan CPUs and up to 500W accelerators
  • Option for HPE Apollo Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) systems that come prefilled, fully integrated and ready to connect to facility water
Improved flexibility to match your workloads, with 4, 8, 10, or even 16 GPUs, single or dual processor systems, broad selections of operating system and options, and world-class support. All in an optimized design to reduce costs & simplify system management. This system provides solid reliability, availability, & serviceability with advanced security.

The ProLiant XL645d is a single socket system for the NVIDIA HGX A100 4-way GPU board or it can support four double-wide or eight single-wide PCIe GPU

The ProLiant XL675d is a dual processor system for the NVIDIA HGX A100 8-GPU board, or it can support 8-10 double-wide or 16 single-wide PCIe accelerators.
