August 18, 2025

Greetings Fellow Scots,

Thank you parents and families, for helping us begin the 2025-2026 school year successfully. Our students did such a great job this week! I am always so impressed with how respectfully and responsibly our students behave. I am very proud of them.

There is a new state law that requires us to update our cell phone rules at school. So far, students are doing a great job following our new expectations.

All students have received a Yondr Pouch to place their phones in during the school day on school property. The expectation is that students lock their phones in their pouches. Students cannot use their phones during the school day on school property. Thank you for helping us enforce this new rule.

On Monday, all students will electronically sign the HPHS Honor Code Statement. We believe this new Honor Code, which was created and developed by students, teachers, and staff, will encourage students to demonstrate academic integrity.

We also developed the HPHS Guidelines for Success, and we believe these guidelines will help all Scots understand and follow school expectations. You can always check the Kiltie Handbook for all processes, procedures, rules, and expectations.

Thanks and Go Scots!
