Hartford Public Library is taking its efforts at connectivity on the road with initiatives designed to increase Wi-Fi connectivity throughout Hartford.

“Our Library on Wheels is one of the resources that allows us the opportunity to creatively deliver service during crucial times like these,” said Leticia Cotto, HPL’s Customer Experience Officer.

On Mondays and Thursdays, we'll have story time. On Wednesdays, we'll have a story in Spanish. Tuesdays and Fridays we'll have crafts and other educational activities.

Master Teaching Artist Rey Bermudez will teach four foundational Salsa dance steps with a mind, body, and heart connection. The lesson will focus on individual dancing that can be applied to partner dancing.

Our own Julie Styles, manager of public services at the Downtown Library, has been delving into HPL's cookbook collection. This week she makes Parsnip Dumplings in Broth from "Plenty" by Yotam Ottolenghi.
