General Assembly PTO Meeting February 13th @ 8:30 am Room 2117 (Band Room)

It's time for the HPS PTO to begin planning for our 2017/2018 school year. If you are interested in supporting our teachers and the HPS community please consider one of our many open positions. Departments such as Athletics, Fundraising, and Social Events all need volunteers. Please contact [email protected] for more details.

Oakley Daddy Daughter Dance 2017

We are in need of volunteers to kindly donate a couple hours next Saturday or Sunday to help event coordinators with the preparation needs for the dance. This is a wonderful HPS community building event and it takes a lot of hands to pull it off.

Spring Celebration Commemorative Video – We need your video and images!

Each Spring Celebration concludes with a video to commemorate the past year.

HPS School Garden - Happiness Grows

Punxsutawney Phil saw his shadow, but it won't keep us from laying the groundwork for a great HPS School Garden. Would you like to be a part of planting seeds indoors in the next two weeks? Crayons to Computers

There is an ongoing opportunity to volunteer Thursdays at C2C between 10 AM and 1 PM to earn additional classroom supply vouchers for our teachers. There will also be a Saturday morning volunteer opportunity February 25. If you would like to volunteer follow the link below and sign up!

Kindergarten Lunch/Recess Volunteers

UPCOMING EVENTS

SPRING CELEBRATION – APRIL 20th, 2017 Spring Celebration is just over two months away! Here are a few important deadlines:

Event Sponsorship
THANK YOU to the businesses, families and grandparents who have already sent their sponsorship information. We ask all sponsors to submit their information no later than March 10th in order to meet printing deadlines. Checks should be made out to “HPS PTO” or sponsorship donations can be made via Paypal at our website, www.hpspto.org. Please type “sponsorship” in the notes. Your event tickets will be held at Will Call the night of the event.

Silent Auction Item Donations
Information will come home in this week’s Tuesday folder regarding item donations. Please submit donations no later than March 24th. Some examples might be artwork, services for the home, concert or sporting event tickets, and sports memorabilia.

Ticket Sales
Tickets will go on sale the third week in March. Please keep in mind event tickets are included at ALL sponsorship levels.Sponsorship and silent auction donation forms can also be found online at the following link, www.hpspto.org. International Night!!!

SAVE THE DATE: Wednesday, Feb 22nd 6-8 p.m.
Hyde Park School will be celebrating our diverse school community by hosting the second annual International Night. This is a fun night of food, entertainment, and cultural education. Last year we had over 30 families showcase 25 different countries!!!

We would like to invite families to join us this year for another amazing night!

Time: Two Sessions for your convienence 4:30-6:00 PM (SOLD OUT) or 7:00-8:30 PM
Cost: $12.50/person
Each ticket includes admission, live entertainment, a high resolution digital photograph/portrait, snacks/treats and soda, and a special gift for each young lady at the end of the evening.
This year’s theme is “A Galaxy Far, Far Away ….”
